What is Chrisley Knows Best?
Chrisley Knows Best debuted on USA Network in March 2014, while Growing Up Chrisley premiered two years later in 2019.
The show follows self-made millionaire Mark’s journey as he attempts to expand his fashion line and open a high-end department store while keeping a tight control on his five children, Lindsie, Chase, Savannah and Grayson.
Even in their luxurious lifestyle, Todd Chrisley and Julie have experienced significant legal trouble together while their relationships with their children continue to be tested.
The series has chronicled many difficult times for Lindsie and her family, such as their divorce and tax fraud trial in 2022. Since then, however, Lindsie and her father have reconciled, while Savannah is currently dating ice hockey player Emmy Medders while Savannah’s 17-year-old brother revealed during an appearance on Savannah’s podcast that he no longer watches the series.

Chrisley Knows Best debuted in 2014 to introduce viewers to real estate mogul Todd and second wife Julie Chrisley and their children Chase, Savannah, Grayson as well as Lindsie and Kyle from his first marriage who made occasional appearances.
This show followed Chrisley family as they lived in a 30,000 square-foot mansion near Atlanta and, later Nashville. The series generated spinoffs such as Growing Up Chrisley that followed older kids; and According to Chrisley which provided Todd with an aftershow platform.
Todd and Julie were found guilty of defrauding banks through a $30 million mortgage fraud scheme in 2023, leading them into prison with them. Savannah currently has custody over their younger two children Grayson and Chloe and remains close with Savannah regardless of any disagreements their relationship may experience over time.
What is the Chrisley family like?
The Chrisley family has been an iconic reality TV family for more than a decade. Todd and Julie Chrisley, along with their children from previous marriages — Chase, Savannah, and Grayson — lived in a gated community outside Atlanta where they would spend over $300K annually on clothing alone.
Since its debut, “Growing Up Chrisley” has expanded to include spinoffs like “Growing Up Chrisley.” However, due to Todd and Julie’s prison sentences for tax evasion and bank fraud, their family tree becomes quite complicated. Lindsie managed to reconcile with both parents last year before appearing on his podcast alongside him.
Lindsie remains estranged from her half-siblings; Savannah and Chloe recently being blocked from Lindsie’s social media after an altercation over a bingo card meme that mocked their current situation. It remains to be seen if and when Lindsie will make a guest appearance once their parents return from prison.
Who is Todd Chrisley?
Reality star Chrisley Knows Best and its spinoff series Growing Up Chrisley have made him well-known to millions. Additionally, he appeared in other USA Network series such as According to Chrisley, What’s Cooking with Julie Chrisley and Chasin’ Birdies podcast.
In 2022, he and Julie were found guilty of running an extensive bank fraud and tax evasion scheme over many years, and turned themselves in for their combined 19-year prison sentences. Since then, Savannah, Chase and Lindsie have taken care of them while remaining behind bars themselves.
Their appeal was originally scheduled for March 2024; however, due to legal complications it has now been moved back to April. Regardless of their legal issues, Todd and her companion continue to keep fans up-to-date with life inside prison – for instance Todd recently made headlines by talking about living conditions at FPC Pensacola prison and alleging retaliatory measures by prison officials for accessing chapel.
